Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #89-11- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF COUNCIL TABLE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for construction of a Council table, the <br />following bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on November 28, 1989: <br /> <br /> Bidder Amoun! <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, <br /> <br />has the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into a contract with in the name of the City of Ramsey for <br />construction of a Council table according to plans and specifications therefore approved by the <br />Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and the upon vote being taken thereon, the follov,4ng voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Rarnsey Cit'3' Council this <br />the 28th day of November, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
