EOEIVED <br />NOV 2 <br /> <br />SPECIAL TEkMS AND CONDITIONS <br /> <br />CQUNTY: The term County refers to the County of Hennepin contracting on behalf <br />of the County and certain Instrumentalities. <br /> <br />INTENT OF SPECIFICATIONS: It is the intent of the specifications to obtain bids <br />on behalf of the following Instrumentalities: <br /> <br />Anoka County (ACO) <br />Apple Valley City (AY) <br />Bloomington City (BL) <br />Brooklyn Park City (BP) <br />Burnsville City (BU) <br />Champlin City (CM) <br />Columbia Heights City (CH) <br />Eagan City (EA) <br />Eden Prairie City (EC) <br />Elk River City (ER) <br /> <br />Hennepin Co. Public Svc (HS) <br />Lino Lakes City (LI) <br />Medina City (Mb) <br />Orono City (OR) <br />Ramsey City (P~A) <br />Richfield City (RI) <br />Roboinsdale City (RO) <br />Shakopee City (SH) <br />Wayzata City (WC) <br /> <br />Other members of the Hennepin County Purchasing Group not listed above may <br />purchase under this agreement only with the permission of the vendor and Hennepin <br />County. <br /> <br />Ail locations must be included in the bidder's proposal. No bid will k.e <br />considered unless all locations are contemplated by the bidder for all items <br />quoted. Award will be made by Hennepin County on behalf of the Instrumentalities <br />who will each be issuing purchase orders and are to be billed separately and wi!! <br />make payment separately. The estimated cuantities indicated on the attached bid <br />Proposal form are for a one-time delivery. <br /> <br />Right is reserved by the purchasers to change delivery points or to add or delete <br />such points. <br /> <br />TECHNICAL QUESTIONS: Technical questions regarding the technical requirements <br />of these specifications should be directed to Ms. Barbara Sutey, Hennepin County <br />Bureau of Public Service, (612) 935-3381. <br /> <br />AWAP~: See Article D under the Standard Terms and Conditions. Award will also <br />be based upon but not necessarily limited to, the factors of: parts and service, <br />past experience including maintenance and operating costs of the County and the <br />instrumentalities cited above with similar or related equipment of bidders, and <br />project operating costs and .trade-in values of the manufacturer and model <br />proposed in terms of the County and the instrumentalities' experience with the <br />current or immediate past model year. <br /> <br />The Total Amount for each item on the bid Proposal form is the amount used to <br />determine the low bid for each item. <br /> <br />NEW VEHICLE WARRANTY The contractor shall furnish manufacturer's standard new <br />vehicle warranty as a minimum and shall promptly replace or repair defective <br />material, parts, workmanship and/or inadequate design at no cost to Hennepin <br />County. Notwithstanding anything contained in the manufacturer's standard new <br />vehicle warranty, such warranty shall be extended to the vehicle for twelve (12) <br />months or 12,000 miles, full warranty as a minimum, contractor shall furnish free <br />pick-up and delivery service for vehicles that are inoperable and covered by <br /> <br /> <br />
