GENERAL SPECIFI~ATIQN$: The vehicles and/or equipment called for herein shall be new, 1990, currently advertised, standard production models incorporating all the latest available changes and features, including those called for herein. The following attached documents are part of these specifications. 18. FACTQRY-INSTALLED OPTIONS: Any option or item described in the manufacturer's specifications as a factory furnis'hed and installed item or option must be furnished ~n~ in~alled by the manufacturer and not by the ~ea!er or any dealer's subcontractor. Bidders who do not comply with this requirement will be removed from the bid lists and may be subject to other penalties. 19. DISTRIB~T~@N. LIS~: The Distribution List below indicates the tots! estimated quantity, description, purchasers and the purchasers' estimated quantities for each item on the Proposal form. The checklist is attached to the back of the bid Proposal forms of'these specifications. 22. Sales Tax: Do not include sales tax in the prices quoted on the bid Proposal form. 23. AFFI~ATIVE ACTION PLAN: Any questions regarding the Affirmative Action Plan should be directed to the Director of Hennepin County Affirmative Action Programs Department, A-303 Government Center, 300 South Sixth Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55487-0033, telephone number (612) 348-4096. An Affirmative Action Plan may be required unless an exemption is granted by the Affirmative Action Programs Department. See section K.5 of the Standard Terms and Conditions. See attached Sample Plan. 24. RE-ORDERS: If permitted by the contractor(s) and if there is no increase in price, additional orders for various quantities may be placed during the remaincer of the year, 1989 through the year 1990, for any item specified on the bid Proposal form. Successful bidder(s) will be contacted prior to the placement of any additional orders to determine if contractor(s) will accept re-orders on this basis. Re-orders are orders for vehicles to be purchased at various times during the year if the need arises in addition to the quantities specified on the bid Proposal form.
