ORDINANCE NO. 89- <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 89- WHICH IS AN ORDINANCEAMENDING CHAPTER <br />170.0 KNOWN AS THE PLANNING, SUBDIVIDING AND SIGNS CHAPTER. <br /> <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY ORDAINS: <br /> <br /> The following official summary of Ordinance No. 89- has been <br />approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly <br />informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: <br /> <br /> It is the intent and effect of Ordinance No. 89- to define <br />certain categories within the Rural Service Area in order to <br />implement "4 in 40 acre" zoning. <br /> <br /> The Ordinance assures that lawful existing uses shall be <br />designated as conforming uses in the districts where development <br />densities change. <br /> <br /> The Ordinance amends minimum lot sizes to 2.5 acres in the <br />Rural Transition District, 5 acres in the Mississippi River <br />Critical Rivers District and 10 acres in the Rural and Urban <br />Reserve Districts all with a maximum density of 4 dwelling units <br />per 40 acres on a pro rata. <br /> <br /> The Ordinance further defines development eligibility of <br />parcels as of January 1, 1990 and outlines Development Limitations. <br /> <br /> A printed copy of Ordinance-No. 89- is available for <br />inspection by any person at the City Municipal Center. <br /> <br /> This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty <br />(30) days after publication according to law, subject to City <br />Chapter Provision, Section 5.04. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, M~nnesota, <br /> day of , 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />Introduction Date: <br />Posting Dates: <br />Adoption Date: <br />Publication Date: <br />Effective Date: <br /> <br /> <br />
