Type of Tree Stock - For all required plantings, trees shall be free of <br />insects, diseases, or mechanical injuries and have straight trunk(s) and a <br />form characteristic of the species. <br /> <br />Spacing at Time of Planting - The spacing of new trees must be <br />compatible with spatial site limitations and with the responsible <br />consideration toward species size when mature as outlined in the "Ramsey <br />Tree Book". <br /> <br />Planting Standards <br /> <br /> (1) as outlined in the "Ramsey Tree Book". <br /> <br />Planting Standard: Soil Amendment <br /> <br />(1) as outlined in the "Ramsey Tree Book". <br /> <br />Planting Stands: Mulch <br /> <br />(1) as outlined in the "Ramsey Tree Book". <br /> <br />Planting Distance between the Curb and Sidewalk <br /> <br />(1) May be 5 feet from back of curb and 3 feet from edge of sidewalk for 8 <br />foot boulevards. This same dimensional relationship may apply for other <br />boulevard widths. In no case shall a tree be closer than 50% of the <br />boulevard width to the back of curb. <br /> <br />Planting in Boulevards and Medians <br /> <br />Planting Distance Along Rural Section Streets <br /> <br />1) Shall be at the right-of-way unless approved by the City. <br /> <br />11. Planting Distance from Hydrants <br /> <br />1) Trees shall be planted a minimum of 15 feet from hydrants. <br /> <br />12. Vision Clearance (sight triangle) <br /> <br />Trees shall be located 35 feet or more from the back of curb of any . <br />adjoining street <br /> <br />13.
