Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The proposed subdivision has an area of approximately 80 acres and consists of twelve (12) Rural <br />Resident!al lots, one (1) outlot and designated park areas. The density of this plat is one (1) <br />dwelling per each 6.7 acres with a park area of approximately 16.9 acres (21% of the total land <br />area). The current and proposed land use is R-1R Rural Residential District. The property is <br />generally described as the West half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 32, Range <br />25, and Lot 8, Block 6, Golden Eagle Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota. The PLNs are 09-32-25- <br />32-0001, 09-32-25-33-0001 and 09-32-25-31-0017. In addition, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning <br />Comm/ssion agreed that the front yard setbacks should be down sized on lot on Block 3 in order to <br />get the future houses closer to the road versus the wetland. The subdivider, Dean Helgeson, noted <br />the need for a variance for the cul-de-sac length had been eliminated due to redesign of the plat <br />layout. <br /> <br />On October 12, 1989, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Comrnission approved the sketch plan and <br />proposed park dedication as shown for the Trott Brook Ridge Addition. <br /> <br />On November 6, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted the public <br />hearing for Trott Brook Ridge Addition and tabled the case until their special meeting scheduled for <br />November 21, 1989. <br /> <br />On November 21, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission adjourned prior to <br />addressing this case. <br /> <br />On November 28, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission did not conduct a meeting <br />due to a lack of a quorum. <br /> <br />74 <br /> <br /> <br />
