Motion by C~==issioner Schneider to recommend preliminary approval of Mr. Bill Dorn's proposed planned unit develo/~ment based on the findings of fac~ ~nd the rec~endations of City ~gineer, City Staff and Plarming and Zoning Commi s si on. Cc~missioner Deemer seconded the motion for further discussion. ~urther Discussion: Commissioner Deemer stated that the ~tion should include wording to the effect that the sale of the City proper~y shall not be for an amount less than that to be ~he dete.-mined worth of the property at the time of it's donation to the City a~ park land. Commissioner Schneider amended her motion to included that wording. Co~missioner Deemer seconded the amendment to the motion. Motion carried. Voting Yes: ~hai~-man Peterson, Co~missioners K~nnen, Zir~e-~m~n, Deemer, Schneider, Isakson and L~D~e. Voting No: None. Cas__~e ~: ~Propose~. Critical Area And Wetlands Ordinance: ChaiIm~n Peterson noted that a Variance Procedure should be added to the Ordinance.and in the case of Mr. F~%rtin, if present conditions continue to exist the Planning and Zoning C~ission goes on record as recommending that ~. F~nrtin be allowed fu.~ure subdivision ~_nto two lots. Comm{ssioner Schneider inquire~ if ~. Martin felt secure in that his concerns were answered by the Plating O~-~ission. FJ. Martin replied t~t he accepts P&Z's intez~retation of the or~J%nance. Ccm~ssioner Schneider recommended that 'Mr. Martin review of the minutes of this meeting ~na that he also approach City Council with his concerns. ~. Schnelle noted that Fr. Martin's %~itten presentation su3~tted at this meeting will be included in the Council agenda. Cc~ssioner ScD~neider stated appreciates ~J. ¥~.rt~'s feasible problems regarding a tract of land along 139~h but considering YJ. F~--tin does own additional adjaoent acreage, at this poi/4t she does not want to go on record ~s being in favor of granting Mr. Martin a variance for future subdivision. Commissioner Schneider stated that she is in favor of variance procedure being included in the ordinance. Mr. Schnelle stated that ~.
