Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #89-12-__ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF HOSE FOR PUMPER WHEREAS, proposals have been received for hose from Clarey's Safety Equipment, Inc. and Mid-Central, Inc. in the following amounts: 15 - 50 foot sections of 1-3/4" hose 20 - 50 foot sections of 2-1/2" hose 10 - 100 foot sections of 5" hose Mid-Central Clarey's $1,965.00 ' $2,062.50 3,000.00 3,250.00 5.150.00 4.125.00 $10,115.00 9,437.50 WHEREAS, the Fire Board met on December 6, 1989 and recommends that the City Council authorize the purchase of the above listed hose. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council authorize the City Administrator and Fire Chief to purchase the above listed hose from Clarey's Safety Equipment, Inc. in an amount of $9,437.50 2) That the above hose purchase be initiated with a Ramsey Purchase Order and charged to the 1989 Budget Account 101-2220-43216. 3) That the 1989 Budget is amended as follows: 101-2220-43216 is increased by $9,437.50 101 - other financing sources and uses is increased by $9,437.50 4) That a transfer of $9,437.50 from the Landfill Trust Fund to the General Fund is hereby authorized. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 19th day of December, 1989.
