Further Discussion: Commissioner Bawden inquired if the City is intemst~ in acquiring <br />t}:e wetlands in Can' Addition for storm water management purposes. Commissioner <br />Deemer note. d that the wetlands are already under government control. Mark Banv,,an <br />stated that the City's acquisition of the wetlands could prevent the property from going tax <br />forfeit and eventually being built upon. Chairman Zimmerman noted that the City's <br />requirements for a buildable lot would prevent the subject property from being built upon. <br /> <br />Motion carried, Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Bawden, Shumway and Terry..
