Goodrich, City Attorney <br />and Mike Auspos, Chief of Police <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />Enclosed are two proposed ordinances relating to nudity and certain <br />sexual conduct in City licensed on-sale liquor and on-sale non- <br />intoxicating malt liquor establishments. These two ordinances were <br />introduced ak the Council's December 12, 1989 meeting. They are <br />now presented to you for adopiton. Also enclosed is a prcpose~ <br />ordinance which would prohibit nudity in places other than City <br />licensed businesses. The Council on December 12th indicated an <br />interest in regulating this type of activity in non-licensed <br />establishments and I am therefore presenting this third ordinance <br />for your consideration and introduction. <br /> <br />ENCLOSURES: <br /> <br />Proposed ordinances regulating nudity in on-sale intoxicating and <br />non-intoxicating licensed establishments and an ordinance <br />regulating nudity in non-bar places. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the above referenced ordinances regulating nudity <br />in City licensed establishments be formally adopted and staff <br />further recommends introduction of the enclosed ordinance relating <br />to nudity in non-bar places. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Ordinance #89-12- which is an ordinance <br />regulating nudity in City licensed on-sale intoxicating liquor <br />establishments. <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Ordinance ~89-12- which is an ordinance <br />regulating nudity in City licensed on-sale non-intoxicating liquor <br />establishments. <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance ~89-12-__ <br />regulating nudity in non-bar places. <br /> <br />which is an ordinance <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Develop- <br />ment Director <br /> <br />X Chief of Police X <br />X Finance Officer <br /> Public Works Superintendent <br /> Other <br /> <br /> <br />
