APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Ms. Connolly and seconded by Mr. Max to approve the Task Force meeting minutes <br />of June 27, 2002. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Max, Sitz, Dvorak, <br />Connolly, Cook, Reeve, Marshall and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Ms. Connolly and seconded by Ms. Strommen to approve the Task Force meeting <br />minutes dated July 1, 2002. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Max, Sitz, Dvorak, <br />Connolly, Cook, Reeve, Marshall and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />MSN COMMUNITY <br /> <br />Mr. McDilda stated that he set up an MSN Community on the internet for this Task Force. <br /> <br />Motion by Ms. Strommen and seconded by Ms. Connolly to adopt use of the MSN Community as <br />a functional piece of this Task Force. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Max, Sitz, Dvorak, <br />Connolly, Cook, Reeve, Marshall and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />REVIEW TO DO LIST <br /> <br />· Revised Time Line <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda stated that he has not had an opportunity to revise the calendar per <br />discussions at the last meeting. <br /> <br />· Potential parallel activities between the Task Force and staff initiatives; and <br />· Landscaping Requirements <br /> <br />Mr. McDilda noted that the proposed Density Transition Ordinance was pulled from the July <br />9 Council agenda. Ms. Frolik stated that the proposed ordinance is scheduled to be on the <br />July 23 Council agenda. Ms. Frolik also still needs to provide the Task Force with copies of <br />the new landscaping requirements in the residential districts. <br /> <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding reasonable planting requirements for new developments. <br /> <br />Mr. McDilda stated that he will not be able to attend the July 23 Council meeting and asked <br />for volunteer to attend and listen to the Council discussion regarding the proposed density <br />transition ordinance. Ms. Strommen stated that she has a commitment in Duluth on July 23, <br />but if she makes it back to town in time, she will attend the Council meeting. <br /> <br />The Task Force asked Ms. Frolik to find out the status of the proposed density transition <br />ordinance: Is it being introduced or adopted? Was is subjected to a public hearing? <br /> <br /> <br />
