Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND CERTIFYING PETITION AND ORDERING <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF BAUGH STREET <br />N. W. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-02-. <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of Baugh St. N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accord with the City <br />Charter and Minnesota Statues concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />A certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of bituminous <br />surfacing of Baugh St. N.W. has been filed with the City Council on February 13, 1990. <br />The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property <br />owners. This declaration is made in conformity to the City of Ramsey ordinance 210.01 <br />and Minnesota Statue Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The petition is hereby referred to Peter Raafikka, City Engineer, and he is instructed to <br />prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should be best to be done as proposed or in conjunction with <br />some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) The above mention project shall hereby referred to by the project number 90-10. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey Chy Council this <br />the 13th day of February, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
