Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #90-02- RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF RIGHT OF WAY PLANS (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 90-11 SUNFISH LAKE DRIVE/147TH STREET N.W. BETWEEN SUNFISH LAKE BLVD. AND NOWTHEN BLVD. WHEREAS, the City has received preliminary plats for Cedar Hills and Chestnut Hills; and WHEREAS, preliminary approval of the Cedar Hills and Chestnut Hills is pending due to the need for street access to Sunfish Lake Blvd. via Sunfish Lake Drive N.W. (a private road); and WHEREAS, the developers of Chestnut Hills and Cedar Hills have petitioned the City to acquire right of way for construction of Sunfish Lake Drive; and WHEREAS, Sunfish Lake Drive/147th Street N.W. between Sunfish Lake Blvd and Nowthen Blvd. is a Municipal State Aid Street in the City of Ramsey and is shown on the City's thoroughfare plan; and WHEREAS, it is proposed to acquire the right of way for the construction of Sunfish Lake Drive/147th Street N.W. with MSA funds; and WHEREAS, MSA streets and right of way to be paid for by MSA funds require approved plans prior to the expenditure of MSA funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Sunfish Lake Drive/147th Street N.W. right of way plan is hereby ordered in accordance with the City's thoroughfare plan dated 8/89. 2) That Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer of this improvement. He shall prepare right of way plans for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted by the Ramsey city Council this the 26th day of February, 1990.
