Councilmember <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br />CItAMBERS TABLE. <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> #90-02- ,, <br /> <br /> FOR CONSTRUCTION OF COUNCIL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for construction of a Council Chambers table, <br />the following bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on February 13, 1990. <br /> <br /> BIDDER AMOUNT <br /> <br /> D & E Cabinets & Millwork, Inc. $5,983.00 ($200.00 deduction to use red <br /> oak instead of white oak) <br /> <br /> Woodhill Industries, Inc. $6,950.00 ($65.00 additional to use red oak <br /> instead of white oak) <br /> <br /> AND WltEREAS, D & E Cabinets & Millwork, Inc. has submitted the lowest bid. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Administrator recommends that a contract for constructing the Council <br /> Chambers table be awarded to D & E Cabinets & Millwork, Inc. and that the deduction of <br /> $200.00 for red oak instead of white oak be accepted. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following were absent: <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 26th day of February, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
