All <br />materials shall be suitable for the services which they are to perform and the conditions <br />and slresses to which they will be normally subjected. The vehicle snail be furnished <br />wilh all ilems of accessory equipment that is advertiseo as standard by the manufacturer <br />for the model to be turnished whether or nol specific mention is made herein. <br /> <br />The equipmen', to be furnished under these specifis, ations shall be essentially the <br />standard producl of the manufacturer. All equipment shall be of the besl cluality <br />normally used for the purpose of good commercial practice and shall be the products of <br />reputable manufacturers. The equipment shall be designed and built in str~c, accordance <br />with the applicable specificalions cooes ant regulations. Design, material, and <br />workmanship and perlormance shall equal or exceed the minimum requirements of These <br />standards and they snail incorporate the latest accepted practices and usages with respect <br />to design, malerials and construction. <br /> <br />8 ) RIGHT TO OPERATE UNSATISFACTORY EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />The owner shall have the right to operate any or all apparatus as soon and as long as it is <br />in operaling condition whelher or not such apparatus has been accepted as complete and <br />satisfaclory, except that lhis shall not be constructrued to permit operation of any <br />apparatus which may be materially damaged by such operation before any required <br />allerations, or repairs have been made by the Contractor. All repairs required by the <br />Owner shall be made by the Contractor at such time as directed by the Owner, The <br />repairs and alterations shall be made in such a manner and such a time as will cause a <br />minimum interruption in the use of the apparatus by the Owner. <br /> <br />9 ) DELIVERY <br /> <br />The Contractor shall state in his proposal the date by which the vehicle will be delivered <br />to the City. <br /> <br />GUARANTEES <br /> <br />All proposals submitted shall contain the manufacturer's guarantee as to workmanship <br />and materials and shall furthermore include complete performance guarantees. <br />Proposals shall be accompanied by the manufacturers complele specifications. <br /> <br /> <br />
