CASE REQUEST FOR OFF-SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE; CASE OF ADH, INC. By: Mike Auspos, Police Chief Background: ADH, Inc. has made application for an off-sale intoxicating liquor license. The establishment is to be located on the southwest comer of 146th Avenue N.W. and Armstrong Boulevard N.W. and is legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, Hauser Addition. At this time there is no building on the site; however, their plans are to construct a 5,500 square foot structure there. The Building Official has not yet received plans for the construction nor am I aware of any projected completion date. Observations: ADH, Inc. has supplied all the infom~ation required by our ordinance except: 1) 2) 3) 4) At this time there is no street number assigned. No blueprints for the building have been submitted. No information regarding liquor liability insurance, other than a quote, has been provided; however, this would not be required until the establishment actually opens for business. At the time this case was written, no infommtion was available regarding a financial disclosure; however, ADH, Inc. has assured me that this will be submitted prior to March 27, 1990. Recommendation: The Police Department's investigation of the applicant shows no reason to disapprove the granting of an off-sale intoxicating liquor license to ADH, Inc. It is recommended, however, that a reasonable time limit be placed upon the construction of the building. Further, issuance is contingent upon showing of liquor liability insurance to the limits required by our ordinance and upon payment of the license fee.
