CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR OFF-SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR <br />LICENSE; CASE OF ADH, INC. <br /> By: Mike Auspos, Police Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />ADH, Inc. has made application for an off-sale intoxicating liquor license. The establishment is to <br />be located on the southwest comer of 146th Avenue N.W. and Armstrong Boulevard N.W. and is <br />legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, Hauser Addition. At this time there is no building on the site; <br />however, their plans are to construct a 5,500 square foot structure there. The Building Official has <br />not yet received plans for the construction nor am I aware of any projected completion date. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />ADH, Inc. has supplied all the infom~ation required by our ordinance except: <br /> <br />1) <br />2) <br />3) <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />At this time there is no street number assigned. <br />No blueprints for the building have been submitted. <br />No information regarding liquor liability insurance, other than a quote, has been <br />provided; however, this would not be required until the establishment actually <br />opens for business. <br />At the time this case was written, no infommtion was available regarding a financial <br />disclosure; however, ADH, Inc. has assured me that this will be submitted prior to <br />March 27, 1990. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Police Department's investigation of the applicant shows no reason to disapprove the granting <br />of an off-sale intoxicating liquor license to ADH, Inc. It is recommended, however, that a <br />reasonable time limit be placed upon the construction of the building.
