EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT On this ~ day of ., 1990 in the City of Ramsey, County of Anoka the following agreement of employment terms and conditions are hereby agreed to between the CITY OF RAMSEY, hereinafter referred to as Employer, and , hereinafter refen'ed to as Employee. 1. Position: City Engineer. 2. Effective Date: ., 1990. 3. Terms of Employment: Employee shall be retained as City Engineer of the City of Ramsey indefinitely as mutually agreed to by the Employee and the Employer. Termination by Employer: The Employer may terminate the Employee by notice in writing by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested. In the event of such termination while Employee is ready, willing and able to perform the duties of City Engineer, the Employer shall pay Employee a sum equal to Employee's then current compensation for thirty (30) calendar days. Termination by Employee: Employee may terminate his employment with Employer by directing thirty (30) days prior written notice of termination to Employer by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested. In the event of such termination, Employee shall not be entitled to receive benefits beyond the effective date of such termination. 6: Salary: Employer agrees to pay Employee for his/her services rendered pursuant hereto an annual base salary of $ , payable in installments at the same time as other employees of the Employer are paid. In addition, Employer agrees to increase said base salary and/or other benefits of Employee in such amounts and to such extent as the Council may determine that it is desirable to do so on the basis of an annual salary review of said Employee made at the same time as similar consideration is given other employees generally. Insurance: The Employer will provide a monthly sum of money to Employee which sum is to be applied toward the cost of health and/or major medical insurance of Employee's choosing. The sum provided by the Employer will be the same amount which the Employer provides to its other administrative staff. That amount is currently $195.00 per month.
