EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> On this ~ day of ., 1990 in the City of Ramsey, County of Anoka the <br />following agreement of employment terms and conditions are hereby agreed to between the CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, hereinafter referred to as Employer, and , hereinafter refen'ed <br />to as Employee. <br /> <br />1. Position: City Engineer. <br /> <br />2. Effective Date: ., 1990. <br /> <br />3. Terms of Employment: Employee shall be retained as City Engineer of the City of <br /> Ramsey indefinitely as mutually agreed to by the Employee and the Employer. <br /> <br />Termination by Employer: The Employer may terminate the Employee by notice in <br />writing by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested. In the event of such <br />termination while Employee is ready, willing and able to perform the duties of City Engineer, <br />the Employer shall pay Employee a sum equal to Employee's then current compensation for <br />thirty (30) calendar days. <br /> <br />Termination by Employee: Employee may terminate his employment with Employer by <br />directing thirty (30) days prior written notice of termination to Employer by certified or <br />registered mail, return receipt requested. In the event of such termination, Employee shall not <br />be entitled to receive benefits beyond the effective date of such termination. <br /> <br />6: <br /> <br />Salary: Employer agrees to pay Employee for his/her services rendered pursuant hereto an <br />annual base salary of $ , payable in installments at the same time as other <br />employees of the Employer are paid. In addition, Employer agrees to increase said base <br />salary and/or other benefits of Employee in such amounts and to such extent as the Council <br />may determine that it is desirable to do so on the basis of an annual salary review of said <br />Employee made at the same time as similar consideration is given other employees generally. <br /> <br />Insurance: The Employer will provide a monthly sum of money to Employee which sum is <br />to be applied toward the cost of health and/or major medical insurance of Employee's <br />choosing. The sum provided by the Employer will be the same amount which the Employer <br />provides to its other administrative staff. That amount is currently $195.00 per month. <br /> <br /> <br />
