Councilmember introduced the following ~solution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-03- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING A FEASIBILITY STUDY TO CONSIDER THE <br />IMPROVEMENT. OF BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF 175TH AVENUE N.W. <br />AND 178TH CIRCLE N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of 178th Avenue N.W. and 178th Circle N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found thc petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accord with the City <br />Charter and Minnesota Statues concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That A certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous surfacing of 178th Avenue N.W. and 178th Circle N.W.has been filed with the <br />City Council on March 13, 1990. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the <br />required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to <br />the City of Ramsey Ordinance 210.01 and Minnesota Statue Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The petition is hereby referred to Peter Raatikka, City Engineer, and he is instructed to <br />prepare a feasibility study for the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it would be best to be done as proposed or in conjunction with <br />some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) The above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project ~90-1 I. <br /> <br />Thc motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 13th day of March, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
