I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-04- RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING RENTAL/PURCHASE OF TRANSPORTABLE IRRIGATION SPRAYER FOR CITY PROPERTIES WHEREAS, the following bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law: Bidder Amount of Bid Minnesota Irrigation Distribution Center Minnesota Irrigation Distribution Center Heinen and Mason $5,355.00 $4,613.00 (demo) $4,175.00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Heinen and Mason of Osseo, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder;, and WHEREAS, this item was budgeted in an amount of $3,500.00 plus 30% ($4,550.00) in the 1990 Capital Improvement Budget for parks. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) 3) 4) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a rental and/or purchase agreement with Heinen and Mason of Osseo, Minnesota in the name of the City of Ramsey for an irrigation sprayer in an amount not to exceed $__ That the decision to purchase may be deferred until October 1, 1990 at the discretion of the Mayor and City Administrator. That the rental/purchase funds shall be appropriated from City General Fund, Park and Recreation Capital Outlay Budget. That an amount up to $500.00 be allocated for purchase of up to 300' of supply hose and couplers for the irrigation equipment. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: by whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of April, 1990.
