Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g90-04- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL FOR LINDA <br />AASEBY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Linda Aaseby began employment at the City of Ramsey on a part-time basis <br />on September 3, 1987 in the position of Data Entry Clerk, in salary grade 1; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Aaseby was made a full-time regular employee on June 18, 1988; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Aaseby reached 2,080 hours of employment at the City of Ramsey on <br />March 25, 1989; therefore, her anniversary of position date becomes March 25; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a satisfactory performance appraisal was performed by Police Chief <br />Michael Auspos, immediate supervisor of Ms. Aaseby on March 20, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Administrator David Hartley has reviewed the performance appraisal <br />and is in agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee accepted the performance appraisal as written at <br />the Personnel Committe meeting on March 27, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, current salary for Ms. Aaseby is $16,173 which is the minimum rate for <br />salary grade 1; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, per the terms of the AFSCME bargaining unit contract, of which Ms. <br />Aaseby is a member, she is eligible for an additional increase of not less than 5% of the salary <br />grade 1 minimum, providing she has received a satisfactory performance evaluation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, per the terms of the AFSCME bargaining unit contract, the increase would <br />begin on the first full payroll period following the employee's anniversary of position date, <br />increasing the annual salary to $16,982; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the anniversary of position date for Ms. Aaseby is March 25, 1990; <br />therefore, the increase would take place on the payroll period beginning Saturday, April 7, 1990. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey conf'n'rns the recommendations of the Police <br />Chief Michael Auspos and the City Administrator David Hartley per the terms of the <br />AFSCME bargaining unit contract for Linda Aaseby, and instructs Kay McAloney, <br />Personnel Coordinator, to prepare the necessary paperwork for change in salary to $16,982 <br />annually effective April 7, 1990. <br /> <br /> motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 10th day of April, 1990. <br /> <br />77 <br /> <br /> <br />
