CASE <br /> <br />FIRE BOARD REPORT <br />PURCHASE OF SMALL TOOLS <br />By: Bruce Hoeke, Fire Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On February 14, 1990 the Fire Board recommended the purchase of the following small tools: <br /> <br />T(X)L PRICE <br /> <br />Chain Saw <br />K-12 Saw <br />Portable Generator <br />Medical Kit <br /> <br />Smoke Ejector Fan (16") <br /> <br />$ 500.00 (wholesale) <br />$ 537.00 (wholesale) <br />$ 370.00 (local) <br />$1,360.00 (Emergency Medical, <br /> Des Moines, Iowa) <br />$ 583.00 (quote from Clarey's) <br /> <br />Total for Tools <br /> <br />$3,350.00 <br /> <br />These items were not included in the Fire DePartment 1990 budget. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Fire Board recommends purchase of these tools at the above prices and to accept the quote <br />from Clarey's for the smoke ejector fan, as they submitted the lowest bid (Minnesota Conway <br />submitted a quote of $595.00).
