On March 27, 1990, Community Development Inspector Lutmer inspected Ramsey Auto Sales and <br />reported 91 vehicles on site, as well as some inoperable vehicles. <br /> <br />On April 10, 1990, a certified letter was sent to Robert Wojcik. That letter indicated that the City <br />Council would be conducting a public heating on April 24, 1990, to consider revocation of a <br />conditional use permit for a used vehicle sales lot. The Post Office indicates Mr. Wojcik's receipt <br />of that letter on April 11, 1990. <br /> <br />On April 18, 1990, Community Development Inspector Lutmer inspected the property to determine <br />the status of compliance with the landscaping term of the conditional use permit. Mr. Lutmer could <br />see no evidence of landscape plantings. He did note that there was sufficient space for 7 off-street <br />parking spaces and all debris had been removed except for one vehicle hood. <br /> <br />For your information, the site location map and existing conditional use permit are enclosed. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The following is a brief summary of recorded conditional use permit violations at Ramsey Auto <br />Sales: <br /> <br />CUP Requirement <br /> <br />Compliance Status <br /> <br />Access from Hwy. #10 shall be used <br />as an exit only. <br /> <br />Subject access not being utilized and <br />therefore in compliance. <br /> <br />Access from Ramsey Blvd. in current location. <br /> <br />In compliance. <br /> <br />Limit of 50 vehicles for sale on the property <br />at any one time. <br /> <br />Consistent non-compliance recorded since <br />July 25, 1989. <br /> <br />There shall be at least 7 off-street parking spaces. Irregular compliance. <br /> <br />All off-street parking, driveways and car display <br />areas shall be surfaced with blacktop or concrete. <br /> <br />Non-compliance. Blacktop improvements <br />were completed per the site plan but Wojcik's <br />operation has expanded beyond the blacktop <br />area. <br /> <br />Landscaping shall be installed & maintained <br />per the site plan. <br /> <br />None of the landscape plantings proposed in <br />the site plan are evident. <br /> <br />No exterior storage of vehicle parts, tires or <br />parts inventory. <br /> <br />Irregular compliance. <br /> <br />Lighting shall be arranged to deflect from <br />adjacent streets. <br /> <br />In compliance. <br /> <br />Grant the City a 15 year option to purchase <br />a 60 foot easement for future frontage road/ <br />utility purposes. <br /> <br />Yet to be accomplished by City. <br /> <br />The property owner shall sign the permit. <br /> <br />In compliance. <br /> <br /> <br />
