DATE: 4-26-90
TO: AUSPOS
FROM: ARNESON
SUBJECT: COMPUTER SETUP

The attached is a breakdown of what changes we need to make in
the office for the computer setup. A description of the changes
and the required equipment is made along with an estimated
expense of these changes and purchases of equipment. The last
page is a recap of the expenses. As you will notice the cost
went over the $5000 ceiling that we had talked about. It is
only a little over the amount and this could be contributed to
the fact that I estimated on the high side for some of the items.
The actual cost expense may be lower. If the prices for the
other items listed comes in higher than I anticipate, we can drop
the MICROGATE 931 software at this time. We do have software and
the equipment to connect the IBM PC to ENFORS already. The
MICROGATE 931 could be termed a luxury item at this point if it
means we go over the budget to much. I have not estimated any
expense for the movement of the equipment, other than the TI main
frame, since we can do that ourselves without cost.

I recommend that we budget $5500 for the conversion. The largest
expense is the movement and rewiring of the TI main frame. I
talked to John Humphries at MAYSAS today and he stated that the
cost could run from $2500 to $3000.

Please check over the proposal for any changes you wish to make
or clarification on any of the items
