Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION %90-5- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING CITY PARKS MAP <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey has supported <br />the development of recreation facilities, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, major facility improvements at City parks have: <br />occurred in several parks, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council's intent is to enhance outdoor recreation <br />activities within the park system for all residents, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has been obtaining trail rights-of-way for <br />the future implementation of a trail system, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to indicate whenever possible <br />general areas of interest for future parks, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to incorporate park and public <br />spaces into the City's comprehensive plan, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Parks Commission has recommended adoption of the <br />City Parks map at their May 10, 1990 meeting. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City adopts the park plan dated May, 1990 as the <br />official park map for the City. <br /> <br /> 2) That the Community Development Director shall <br />additions and revisions reflecting new parks, names and <br />pertinent information to be made in a timely manner. <br /> <br />cause <br />other <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of May, 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
