mo ~_J[uJ_[_t~ An As-Built drawing shall be provided to the City showlng the location of the conductors between the breaker cablnet and the pole or poles~ these drawings shall be provided to the City by the contractor prlor to the City acceptlng the street lights. 5. ~ All conductors, sultable for direct burial, will be type USE, copper cable wlth ground. 6. Grounding: At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each distribution clrcult there must be Installed a driven ground as requlred by National Electric Code Article 1250-84. Any distribution circuit over 300 feet In length must have a driven ground rod at midpolnt. C. Ground wlre must be Insulated wlre suitable for direct burial. For 120 volt.clrcults all conductors will be brought up the pole and connections will be made at the fixture. The ground wire will be connected to the grounding lug If provided. If.there ls no grounding lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. Be Where more than one Ilght is in line, a splice will be made above grade In ~he junction box. Junction box shall be placed on the pole approximately 1' above ground level. Splicing shall be done In the Junction box and a in-the-llne fuse shall be Installed. 8. Photo Control: Photo control ls to be faced as nearly north as practical. 9. Locks.' One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed point by the electrical contractor. 10. Completion: When street lighting ls completed by the Contractor, he shall contact the Electrical Inspector for inspection (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 ]]3e electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of electrical Inspection to the City of Anoka or NSP. The City of Anoka or NSP shall energize the lights and notify the City of addresses and date energized. Final acceptance ts not made until As-Builts and 5 blue-line copies have been submltted to the Clty Engineer by the Contractor.
