PROPOSED <br />STREET LIGHTING POLICY <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />(JUNE 7, 1990) <br /> <br />NEW SUBDIVISIONS <br /> <br />Street lights meeting City standards and specifications shall be installed at street <br />intersections with County, State and collector streets bordering the subdivision at points <br />designated by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />In Municipal Urban Service Area (MUSA), street lights shall also be installed at all interior <br />street intersections and at intervals of approximately 400 feet or as mutually agreed upon by <br />the Developer and City Engineer. <br /> <br />Street lights shall be installed along existing streets within 90 days of the filing of the plat <br />or within 90 days of the completion of the construction of the streets. If the streets are <br />completed or the plat filed between November 1, and April 1, the 90 day period for <br />installation of the required street lights shall commence on the following April 1. <br /> <br />The Developer shall pay for street lights in the form of a cash deposit made prior to the <br />recording of the plat. The cost of street lights shall be set annually by resolution. <br /> <br />EXISTING AREAS <br /> <br />Based on discussion. <br /> <br /> <br />
