On February $, 1990. a resident representing thc neighborhood came ~o City Hall requesting information on subd/vision of P.I.N. 10-32-25-,~0021. He/ndicated that the neighbors were interested in increa~g thc ~ of their lou. It was indicam~ that ~uch a subdivision would require inclusion of their existing lots in order to avoid the need for onflots. In ~ce with the notice: Sale of Surplus City Property, one bid was received for the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($1 00.00) f~m Daryl Pein'son. On Februm--y 13, 1990, the Ramsey City Council, directed staff to draft an ordinance for the sale of City of Ramsey surplus property P.LN. 10-32-25-~-0009 with the revenues from the sale of the property being placed into the Park Trust Fund. On February 26, 1990, the Ramsey City Council introduced Ordinance $$90-03- : An Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Certain City Owned Propgny Located in the City of Ramsey. On March 13, 1990 the Ramsey City Council tabled the adoption of an ordinance for sale of City property PIN: 10-32-25-,M-0009 and request that City staff provide addition information regarding costs incurred by the City associated with thc sale of this pwperty. On March 30, 1990 a letter was sent to Mr. Pcterson stating the City Council's concerns and the City's cost in selling said property. On June 18, 1990 Daryl Peterson made a written offer of $a.00.00 for the land/pm'eel known as PIN: 10-32-25-44-0009. Staff Recommendations: Staff recommends the sale of City of Ramsey surplus property P.I.N. 10.32-25-4~-0009. In addition, staff suggests that revenues from said sale be placed into the Park Trust Find. Furthermore, staff recommends that the tax parcels for P.LN.'s 10-32-25-44-0009 and 10-32-25- 44-O021 be combined. It should be understood by Mr. Peterson that development of the land may require subdivision platting and/or street frontage variance. Council Action: Motion to adopt/not adopt Orclin~ W)0-03- : An Ch'tin,ce Authorizing the Sale of Cemin City Owned Property Located in the City of Ramsey. Motion to direeffnot direct the consolidation of tax parcels P.I.N.'s 10-32-2544-0009 and 10-32- 2544-0021; and revenues from the sale of City surplus property be placed into the Park Trust Fund.
