CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR STATE REIMBURSEMENT FOR AIRPORT STUDY <br />EXPENDITURES <br /> By: Snndra Ashley, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On June 4, 1990 a re. quest for reimbursement of Airport Master Plan and Engineering <br />exp~nses was submitted to thc Minnesota Department of Transportation. This re. quest has <br />been reviewed by MnDOT and the following additional information and/or documents are <br /> <br />1) A resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to sign Amendment <br /> #1 for the Master Plan Study. <br /> <br />2) Amendment #1 (as refen'ed to above) signed by the Mayor and City <br /> Administrator. <br /> <br />3) Completion of certain worksheets which recap costs by the various engineering <br /> phases. <br /> <br />The purpose of Amendment #1 for the Master Plan Study is to increase the amount of <br />funding provided by thc State. The additional work was approved verbally by MnDOT, <br />but the agreement must be amended to reflect same, prior to actual reimbursement. <br /> <br />The additional worksheets required supporting the reimbursement request arc in process <br />and will be coraplete for transmittal with the resolution and amendment. <br /> <br />Observation: <br /> <br />The City's current reimbursement request totals $47,179.67. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends that City Council adopt Resolution g90-06- : Resolution <br />Amending Contract Agreement for MnDOT Participation in Gateway North Industrial <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt/not adopt Resolution #90-06- : Resolution Amending Contract <br />Agreement for MnDOT Participation in Gateway North Industrial Airport Project. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Adminiswator <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer <br />Commuriity Development Director <br />Public Works Supervisor <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />F'mance Officer <br />Planning & Zoning Commission <br />Park & Recreation Commission <br /> <br />X <br /> <br />//7 <br /> <br /> <br />
