enter into this Agreement has been established by a duly passed resolution of its respective <br />governing body. <br /> <br /> III. TERM <br /> <br /> This agreement shall commence when it has been duly executed by Anoka County <br /> <br />and municipalities representing at least 50 (fifty) precincts and shall continue until terminated as <br />provided herein. <br /> <br />IV. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTIES <br /> <br /> 1. The parties shall abide by the following conditions so long as the Unisys ES- <br /> <br />2000 system is used on an experimental basis pursuant to Minn. Stat. § '206.81: <br /> <br /> a. Anoka County shall provide the Secretary of State with a list of each <br /> city and township agreeing to the experimental use of the ES-2000 <br /> system at the state primary and state general elections; <br /> <br /> b. Anoka County shall develop and file with the Secretary of State, no <br /> later than July 31, 1990, a backup plan for counting ballots in the <br /> event of equipment failure; <br /> <br /> c. Anoka County shall file, with the Secretary of State, no later than <br /> .luly I3, I990, a plan describing the procedure for training election <br /> judges in the use of the voting system; <br /> <br /> d. Each municipality shall provide instruction for voters in the use of <br /> the voting system and at least one public demonstration prior to the <br /> state primary election; <br /> <br /> ': 2. Upon certification of the Unisys ES-2000 system by the Minnesota Secretary <br /> <br />of State, the parties' use of that system shall conform to those conditions mandated by the <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
