CASE

ADDRESS AND STREET NAME CHANGES
By: Giyn Huff, Building Official
Mike Auspos, Chief of Police
Merle Mevissen, Public Works Supervisor

Observations/Background:

Since January, 1990 the Building Official, Police Department and Public Works
Department have been identifying a number of problems existing with street names and
address numbering.

The Building Official has also reviewed previous street numbering change directives to
determine ff indeed they have been carried out. Most of these directives have been carried
out, however, a number of them have not.

In accordance with the City Code of Ramsey, the Building Official has determined that the
proposed address number changes are necessary, particularly in the Woodland Green
Addition. It seems appropriate to inform the City Council of such changes prior to them
occurring. In addition there are a number of incorrect street addresses which arc either out
of sequence or indication of being on the wrong side of the street.

Finally, there are two streets with incorrect street names. The fn'st of these is 147th Circle
N.W. which should be changed to 146th Circle N.W. The second, located in Hall
Anderson Acres, is shown on the plat as Lithium Street N.W. while the street sign is Neon
Street N.W.

For your information the following items arc enclosed:

^)

B)

Change of Address listing as per Glyn H.
