Mr. Mark Banwart
Page 2
April 19, 1990

A. 350 eections of 3' long aluminum rod
B. 50 driving points
C. 50 3-1/2" diameter friction caps
D. Driving adaptor for hammer
Estimated Cost of Material:

$2,772.00
137.00
291.00
110.00

$3,310.00

If the City does not have a proper hammer for driving the rods, it
would be necessary to either purchase or rent one.

I estimate the cost to physically set the permanent benchmarks and
to establish elevations on them in accordance with the existing
City benchmarks %o be approximately $7,500.00. They would be
established in areas where benchmarks exist.

I recommend that they City proceed with Item 2 so that there is a
good system throughout the platted areas. Item 3 can be done at
any time but should probably be done after Item 2 is complete.

Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this.

Sincerely,

HAKANSON ANDERSON ASSOCIATES, INC.

a~es M.
