1206 <br /> <br /> Any'alteration or erasure made by the Bidder ih his Proposal <br />in accordance with a specific instruction contained in an "Adden- <br />dum'' will not be considered to be an "alteration or erasure" within <br />the meaning of the Statute. <br /> <br /> 1207 <br /> IrreRular Proposals <br /> Proposals will be considered irregular and may be r__ejected for <br />any o-t"[h~f~o~l[bwing reasons: <br />(I) If the Proposal is on a form other than that furnish~xt by the <br /> Department, or if the form is altered or any part thereof is <br /> detached. <br /> <br />(2) If there are unauthorized additions, conditional or alternate <br /> bids, or irregularities of any kind which may tend to make the <br /> Proposal incomplete, indefinite, or ambiguous as to its mean- <br /> ing. <br /> If the bidder adds any unauthorized provisions reserving the <br /> right to accept or reject an award, or to enter into a Contract <br /> pursuant to an award. <br /> <br /> If the Proposal does not contain a unit price for each pay item <br /> listed except in the case of authorized alternate pay items. <br /> If any un.it prices, are.obviously Unbalanced, ,,either in execs,s,,, <br /> .of or below the reaso, nable cost analjtsis values. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br /> 1208 <br /> Proposal Guaranty <br /> Each proposal shall be accompanied by a separate guaranty of <br />the character and in an amount not less than the amount indicated <br />in the proposal form. The guaranty shall be either a certified <br />check or an acceptable bond made payable to the Contracting <br />Authority. Bonds shall be issued by corporations authorized to <br />contract as a surety in the State of Minnesota, and the bond form <br />shall be that which is on file at the office of the Contracting <br />Authority. Bonds shall be conditioned on execution of the Con- <br />tract, Contract Bond, and prescribed Noncollusion Affidavit, with <br />the penal sum being expressed either as a lump sum or as a per- <br />centage of the total amount of the bid. <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
