,I <br /> ! <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION %90-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SETTING A FEE FOR PAWNBROKER ANDSECONDHAND GOODS DEALER <br />LICENSE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has adopted Ordinance 90- which is an <br />Ordinance establishing a licensing requirement for Pawnbrokers and <br />Secondhand Goods Dealers; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said ordinance requires that an initial <br />application/investigation fee and an annual license fee be set for <br />issuance of the license; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's police chief has advised the Council that <br />pawnbrokers and secondhand goods dealers do require a considerable <br />amount of police time in reviewing applications and maintaining <br />compliance with the ordinance provisions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL, as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> That pursuant to city Ordinance 90- , an annual pawnbrokers <br />and secondhand goods dealers license fee shall be set at $1,250.00 <br />per year and that the initial license application/investigation fee <br />be set at $250.00 which fee is non-refundable. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
