ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TASK FORCE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />On Monday, October 20, 2003, the Environmental Policy Task Force (EPTF) met in the <br />conference room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, MN. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Joe McDilda <br />Committee Member Michael Max <br />Committee Member Erika Sitz <br />Committee Member Margaret Connolly <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Committee Member Sue Dvorak <br />Park Commission Liaison Jon Olds <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Council Liaison Sarah Strommen <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Max and seconded by Committee Member Connolly to approve <br />the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Connolly, Max and <br />Sitz, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Committee Members Dvorak and Olds. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Max and seconded by Committee Member Sitz to approve the <br />following EPTF minutes: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br /> <br />June 2, 2003 <br />October 6, 2003, with the following correction: the recording of the votes on the <br />motions should identify Mr. McDilda as being absent from the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried: Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Connolly, Max, Sitz <br />and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Committee Members Dvorak and Olds. <br /> <br />TASK FORCE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case ltl: Upcoming Project <br /> <br />Ms. Strommen stated that Council basically gave the EPTF the go-ahead to start working on <br />wetland buffer and greenspace conservation regulations. Council did ask to be kept informed of <br />the Task Force progress on these issues. She stated that she also urged the Personnel Committee <br />to make some decisions regarding the permanency of the Task Force. The Personnel Committee <br />indicated an intention to give some higher priority to discussing the EPTF. Ms. Strommen <br /> <br /> <br />
