Mr. McDilda noted that in the future, it is EPTF's intent that the Council liaison, as well as the <br />liaison from Parks and Planning, will be voting members. <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Sitz and seconded by Committee Member Max to accept the <br />appointment of Jon Olds from the Park Commission with a start date of January 2004. Further, <br />to direct Staff to provide Mr. Olds with copies of agendas and minutes to keep him current. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Sitz, Connolly, and <br />Max. Voting No: None. Absent: Committee Member Dvorak. <br /> <br />Staffwas asked to have the Planning Commission replace Michael Reeve on the EPTF. <br /> <br />TASK FORCE INPUT <br /> <br />Ms. Connolly stated that a councilmember from St. Francis has inquired if Ramsey is going to <br />make a presentation of it's tree preservation ordinance to interested persons and agencies. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik was directed to add the following item to the Parking Lot List: Schedule a meeting to <br />present Ramsey's tree ordinance to other interested agencies, persons and jurisdictions. <br /> <br />Consensus was that Park Commission Chair Jill Johns should be invited to a future meeting to <br />update the EPTF as to what is happening in the area of parks. <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda reinforce the need to get the Task Force back to a full complement via a <br />memo to the Personnel Committee and copy the remaining Councilmembers <br /> <br />Staff was asked to make sure that this requirement is shown on tree plans and enforced in the <br />field; also that no grading should occur until the tree save fences are in place. <br /> <br />Staff was asked to see that The Ramsey Tree Book is included in the New Resident Packets or <br />distributed with recycling bins. <br /> <br />Mr. McDilda suggested that the EPTF review "Drafting an Effective Lake, Stream and Wetland <br />Buffer Ordinance" and be prepared to commence working on an ordinance draft at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. McDilda volunteered to get copies of similar ordinances from the communities of Woodbury <br />and Stillwater. <br /> <br />Bruce Bacon should be present at the next meeting to discuss the NUCFAC grant in more detail. <br /> <br />Mr. McDilda and Sylvia Frolik to coordinate scheduling a televised meeting to receive updates <br />on the Releaf Grant, Greenway Corridor Project, and the Lower Rum River Water Management <br />Organization. <br /> <br />Staff was asked to have the Planning Commission replace Michael Reeve on the EPTF. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik was directed to add the following item to the Parking Lot List: Schedule a meeting to <br />present Ramsey's tree ordinance to other interested agencies, persons and jurisdictions. <br /> <br /> <br />
