City of Ramsey <br /> <br />15153 NOWTHEN BOULEVARD N.W., RAMSEY, MINNESOTA 55303 · (612) 427-1410 <br /> <br />July 9, 1990 <br /> <br />John I-Iayward <br />C/O Ramsey Sales <br />7205 Highway #10 N.W. <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Subject: Motor Vehicle Sales <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Hayward: <br /> <br />As we have discussed previously, you are not permitted to maintain an auto sales. <br />lot at the property legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 7, Auditor's Subdivision Number 34, of Anoka County <br />Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of <br />said Lot 7 a distance of 770 feet; thence North and parallel with the East line <br />of said Lot 7 and to the Northerly line of said Lot 7; thence Southerly on said <br />Northerly line a distance of 350 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be <br />described; thence South and parallel with the East line of said Lot 7 and to <br />the Southwesterly line of said Lot 7; thence Southeasterly on said <br />Southwesterly line a distance of 180 feet; thence North and parallel with the <br />East line of said Lot 7 and to the Northeasterly line of said Lot 7; thence <br />Northwesterly on said Northeasterly line and to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />We understand that you asked to have your previous motor vehicle sales .license, <br />which was issued in January of 1990 transferred to 7207 Highway #10 N.W., <br />t{amsey, Minnesota. Please be advised that there is no such address within this <br />City. If you believe that is the address for the above described property, that <br />property has not been properly zoned for that use and therefore, it is not <br />permissible to have your license transferred to that site. Even though City <br />Council has acted to transfer the license, they did so under the impression that <br />this is an appropriate site for used car sales, which as you know, it is not. <br /> <br />This letter is to advise you that you must cease and desist immediately'-from <br />operating a car sales business at the above legally described property. I will be <br />placing this matter on the City Council July 24, 1990 agenda for their action to <br />'consider formally revoking the purported transfer of your license to this site. In <br /> <br /> <br />
