Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #90-22 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY <br />SEWER AND WATER FOR CHESTNUT POND ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider <br />the extension of City water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and streets to the proposed Chestnut <br />Pond Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct <br />percentage of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance <br />with the City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the extension of City water, <br />sanitary sewer, storm sewer and streets to the proposed Chestnut Pond Addition has <br />been filed with the City Council on July 24, 1990. The petition is hereby declared to be <br />signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made <br />in conformity to the City of Ramsey Ordinance 210.01 and Minnesota Statute Chapter <br />429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Peter Raatikka, City Engineer, and he is instructed to <br />prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as <br />to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g-90- <br />22. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 24th day of July, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
