BOX 771 <br /> RAMSEY, MN 55303 <br /> <br />MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE 01203 <br /> <br />OPERATING PROCEDURES & CONTROLS <br /> <br />GAME OPERATORS/SELLERS <br /> INVENTORY ACQUISITION AND CONTROL <br /> · Receives equipment or supplies, initials and dates the invoice, and verifies the quantity received. <br /> · Verify that a Minnesota State registration stamp has been affixed to all gambling equipment and <br /> supplies by the licensed distributor. <br /> · Compare all games received, by serial number and state registration stamp, to the distributor's <br /> invoice. Reconcile any difference before placing the game into play. <br /> · Secure all gambling equipment in a locked storage area. <br /> GAMING OPERATIONS CONTROL <br /> · Responsible for all inventory and cash while working. <br /> · Post the flare (pulltabs) or the master flare (paddlewheel and tipboards) with the correct serial <br /> number, and with the state registration stamp affixed. <br /> · Begins play of all games in accordance with state and house rules. <br /> · Close the deal when sold out or major winners are awarded per the direction of the gambling <br /> manager, assistant gambling manager, or house rules pertaining to disclosure of major winners. <br /> · Deface all winning tickets so that they cannot be redeemed again. Retain the winning tickets per <br /> house instructions. <br /> · Record winners valued at $100.00 or greater. Obtain picture identification from the winner and <br /> record information onto a winning ticket form. Have the winner sign the completed form indicating <br /> receipt of the prize. <br /> · If, when you go to pay a winner, you find that there is not enough cash in the appropriate game <br /> bank, you will have to borrow from another game bank. When borrowing from another game bank <br /> choose a slow selling one with a large bank, a game that will likely be in play long enough to be paid <br /> back. Fill out the "Borrowed From" and "Borrowed To" forms. The Borrowed From form will go into <br /> the cash bank of the game that needed the loan. The Borrowed To form will go into the cash bank of <br /> ~ the game making the loan. <br /> · Make sure that all loans are paid when closing either game (loaned from or.loaned to). <br /> · Secure the game receptacle at the end of the day. <br /> · Check the serial number on each winning and compare to the serial number of the game being <br /> played. Do not pay the person presenting the ticket for payment if the serial numbers do not match. <br /> · Do not allow organization gambling employees or bar owner or employees to play. <br /> · If you suspect another gambling employee or superior of illegal acts or acts which compromise the <br /> assets of the Ramsey Lions you have a duty to report such suspicions to the Gambling Manager or to <br /> the President of the Ramsey Lions Club. <br /> CHANGE IN SHIFT CHECKOUT PROCEDURE: <br /> · Count the remaining unsold tickets (use electronic scale), determine the value of paid winning <br /> tickets, count the cash in the drawer (including bank amount), enter this information onto the <br /> shift/day game audit form. Sign the game shift audit form on the appropriate blank. ENSURE THAT <br /> YOUR INFORMATION IS THE SAME AS THAT OF THE PREVIOUS OPERATOR. <br /> WHEN OPENING A NEW GAME, FOLLOW THESE STEPS: <br /> · Fill out the game information form and complete all appropriate information. <br /> · Verify that the serial number on the state registration stamp matches the serial number on the <br /> game piece. <br /> · Count the starting bank and enter that information on the game information form. <br /> · Put all of the game tickets (pulltab or tipboard) into the game jar and tape the flare onto the front <br /> of the jar or booth. <br /> · Puts the entire deal into a receptacle other than the container in which the deal was received. <br /> <br /> <br />
