WHEN CLOSING FOR THE SHIFT/DAY, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
· Count the remaining unsold tickets (use electronic scale), determine the value of paid winning
tickets, count the cash in the drawer (including bank amount), enter this information onto the
shift/day game audit form. Sign the game shift audit form on the appropriate blank.
· Lock all solid oak game enclosures, lock and store in a secured area any plexiglass game
enclosures.
· Remove all cash from drawers, put into separate game envelopes, and store in the Ramsey Lions
safe in the secured area.
WHEN CLOSING A GAME, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
· Count the remaining unsold or defective tickets and enter information onto the game information
form and onto the bag that will be used for storage of the game.
· Total the value of all redeemed winning tickets to figure total payout. Enter this information onto
the bag that will be used for storage of the game.
· Make sure any loans to or from have been paid off.
· Count cash on hand, subtract starting cash bank, and put remaining cash into a separate envelope.
Put the remaining cash envelope into the Ramsey Lions safe in the secured area. Enter the
remaining cash amount onto the bag that will be used for storage of the game and onto the game
information form.
· Place unsold, defective, redeemed tickets, and the flare into the bag that will be used for storage of
the game.
· Open another game and place into play per the policies of the Ramsey Lions Club.
NOTES ON SELLING PULLTABS, TIPBOARDS, AND PADDLEWHEEL TICKETS:
Counting tickets must be done very carefully to ensure complete accuracy. Leave the customers
money out until you have given them the proper number' of tickets and change, then bank the
customer money. This will save any disagreement over the denomination of the money received
from the customer.

If the customer wished to redeem winning tickets from one game for tickets from another game you
must do so with great care. Redeem the winners for cash from the proper game bank. Place the cash
on the counter and count out the tickets from the game desired. Place the cash in the bank of the
game for which tickets were given out. Remember, convert to cash all winners when the player
wishes to be paid in tickets from a different game than what was originally played.

Keep the winning tickets in the designated drawer for the game in play. Watch serial numbers
very carefully, especially on large winners. Made sure the se. rial numbers on all
redeemed winners match those of the game in _p_!ay. Never pay off if the serial
number is damaged, missing, or obscured.

Never leave the selling booth unattended. Never allow a person other than yourself to reach into the
game enclosure or to pull tickets from the game enclosure.

When taking a personal break during your shift be sure to lock all game enclosures and cash
drawers.

FAILURE TO PERFORM YOUR JOB IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
WILL JEOPARDIZE YOUR CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT WITH THE RAMSEY LIONS CLUB.
