WHEN CLOSING FOR THE SHIFT/DAY, FOLLOW THESE STEPS: <br />· Count the remaining unsold tickets (use electronic scale), determine the value of paid winning <br />tickets, count the cash in the drawer (including bank amount), enter this information onto the <br />shift/day game audit form. Sign the game shift audit form on the appropriate blank. <br />· Lock all solid oak game enclosures, lock and store in a secured area any plexiglass game <br />enclosures. <br />· Remove all cash from drawers, put into separate game envelopes, and store in the Ramsey Lions <br />safe in the secured area. <br />WHEN CLOSING A GAME, FOLLOW THESE STEPS: <br />· Count the remaining unsold or defective tickets and enter information onto the game information <br />form and onto the bag that will be used for storage of the game. <br />· Total the value of all redeemed winning tickets to figure total payout. Enter this information onto <br />the bag that will be used for storage of the game. <br />· Make sure any loans to or from have been paid off. <br />· Count cash on hand, subtract starting cash bank, and put remaining cash into a separate envelope. <br />Put the remaining cash envelope into the Ramsey Lions safe in the secured area. Enter the <br />remaining cash amount onto the bag that will be used for storage of the game and onto the game <br />information form. <br />· Place unsold, defective, redeemed tickets, and the flare into the bag that will be used for storage of <br />the game. <br />· Open another game and place into play per the policies of the Ramsey Lions Club. <br />NOTES ON SELLING PULLTABS, TIPBOARDS, AND PADDLEWHEEL TICKETS: <br />Counting tickets must be done very carefully to ensure complete accuracy. Leave the customers <br />money out until you have given them the proper number' of tickets and change, then bank the <br />customer money. This will save any disagreement over the denomination of the money received <br />from the customer. <br /> <br />If the customer wished to redeem winning tickets from one game for tickets from another game you <br />must do so with great care. Redeem the winners for cash from the proper game bank. Place the cash <br />on the counter and count out the tickets from the game desired. Place the cash in the bank of the <br />game for which tickets were given out. Remember, convert to cash all winners when the player <br />wishes to be paid in tickets from a different game than what was originally played. <br /> <br />Keep the winning tickets in the designated drawer for the game in play. Watch serial numbers <br />very carefully, especially on large winners. Made sure the se. rial numbers on all <br />redeemed winners match those of the game in _p_!ay. Never pay off if the serial <br />number is damaged, missing, or obscured. <br /> <br />Never leave the selling booth unattended. Never allow a person other than yourself to reach into the <br />game enclosure or to pull tickets from the game enclosure. <br /> <br />When taking a personal break during your shift be sure to lock all game enclosures and cash <br />drawers. <br /> <br />FAILURE TO PERFORM YOUR JOB IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES <br />WILL JEOPARDIZE YOUR CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT WITH THE RAMSEY LIONS CLUB. <br /> <br /> <br />
