I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-07- RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNUAL INCREASE FOR POLICE CHIEF MICHAEL AUSPOS WHEREAS, Michael Auspos began employment at the City of Ramsey on a full-time basis as Police Chief on January 1, 1979 in a salary grade 6, with some prior time with the City as Constable; and WHEREAS, a satisfactory performance appraisal was performed by City Administrator David Hartley, immediate supervisor of Mr. Auspos, on June 12, 1990; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee accepted the performance appraisal as presented at the Personnel Committee meeting on June 20, 1990; WHEREAS, the City Council, at their special meeting on July 10, 1990 and their regular meeting on July 10, 1990, discussed the performance of Michael Auspos; and WHEREAS, the request of Mr. Auspos was an increase in his annual salary of 4% to $45,774 effective January 1, 1989, and a 4% increase to $47,605 effective January 1, 1990, with all benefits consistent with other exempt members of City Staff; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the request of Mr. Auspos to increase his annual salary to $45,774 effective January 1, 1989 and to $47,605 effective January 1, 1990, and also approved the request to give benefits consistent with other exempt members of City Staff. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the request of Police Chief Michael Auspos to increase his annual salary 4% to $45,774 effective January 1, 1989 and 4% to $47,605 effective January 1, 1990, with all benefits consistent with other exempt members of City Staff. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of July, 1990.
