Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-08- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF RMASEY AND ANOKA COUNTY REGARDING USE FOR FUNDS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is participating in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program; and WHEREAS the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the execution of annual subgrantee agreements with each participating community; and WHEREAS, the subgrantee agreements have been a policy in the County's CDBG Program for several years; and WHEREAS, the HUD Council is requiring that this practice be included in the terms of the Joint Cooperation Agreement. WHEREAS, $26,574.00 of CDBG funds formerly in the revolving loan fund are available for reallocation other than as a revolving loan; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 14, 1990, regarding the reallocation of said funds. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City hereby approves the use of said CDBG funds for improvements in River's Bend Park which would benefit the handicapped and senior citizens. 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Administrator to execute the necessary agreement on behalf of the City. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City council this the 28th day of August, 1990.
