Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-08- RESOLUTION ADOPTING 1990 BUDGET AMENDMENT #10 FOR TRAINING AND SCHOOLING FOR THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES 1990 ANNUAL CONFERENCE. WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council, at the May 8, 1990 meeting, approved expenditures necessary to cover the cost of Councilmembers Stephen F. DeLuca, Alan Pearson and Kenneth Peterson and City Administrator David Hartley to attend the League of Minnesota Cities 1990 Annual Conference in Duluth, Minnesota from June 12 through June 15, 1990; and WHEREAS, City Administrator David Hartley, at the Ramsey City Council meeting on May 8, 1990, noted that there would be a budget amendment necessary to cover the expenditures for the aforementioned conference and that a budget amendment would be prepared when all expenditures had been received; and WHEREAS, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and Peterson and City Administrator Hartley incurred expenses from attendance of the League of Minnesota Cities 1990 Annual Conference and all expenditures have now been received; and WHEREAS, this budget amendment increases the 1990 budget for Conferences, Training and Schools by the amount of $617.45, increases the Administration (#1130) - Conferences, Training and Schools by the amount of $579.48, and decreases Expenditure Reserve (#8920) by the amount of $1,196.93 to cover the aforementioned expenditure; and WHEREAS, this budget amendment does not increase nor decrease the City's 1990 General Fund Budget. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Finance Officer of the City of Ramsey is hereby instructed to enter 1990 Budget Amendment #10 into the city of Ramsey's financial systems to cause the budget amendment detailed in this resolution to be reflected in the City's financial records. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of August, 1990.
