Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-08- RESOLUTION ADOPTING 1990 BUDGET AMENDMENT #9 FOR PURCHASE OF POLICE SQUAD CARS WHEREAS, the cut-off date for police vehicle purchases through Hennepin County Joint Purchasing has changed from December 1990 for delivery in March or April of 1991 to August 20, 1990 for delivery by December 17, 1990; and WHEREAS, the 1991 budget request includes two new squad cars for delivery early in 1991; and WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the purchasing date, the Ramsey City Council approved this budget request at the regular Council meeting of August 14, 1990; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase in 1990 will be transferred from the Equipment Revolving Fund (City Fund No. 810) to the General Fund (No. 101) in the not-to-exceed amount of $28,900.00 with such funding to include the vehicles and wiring as required; and WHEREAS, this budget amendment does increase the City's total 1990 General Fund Budget Capital Outlay Expenditures and Other Financing Sources by the same amount ($28,900.00). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Finance Officer of the City of Ramsey is hereby instructed to enter 1990 Budget Amendment g9 into the City of Ramsey's financial systems to cause the budget amendment detailed in this resolution to be reflected in the City's financial records. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of August, 1990.
