I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />i <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH ANOKA COUNTY FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF <br />A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT COUNTY ROAD #116 AND ST. <br />FRANCIS BOULEVARD N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has expressed its concern over the need for the <br />signalized traffic control devices at the intersection of County Road #116 and St. Francis <br />Boulevard N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Anoka has responded by preparing specifications for <br />temporary traffic control signals at County Road #116 and St. Francis Boulevard N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the responsibility for electrical utility costs associated with traffic control <br />signals are traditionally the City's; and <br /> <br /> WHERES, the City of Ramsey has previously passed Resolution #90-07-220 which <br />authorizes the City to enter into an agreement for installing and maintaining a temporary traffic <br />signal at County road #116 and St. Francis Boulevard N.W.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Anoka will be supplying electrical service for said signals. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey enter into the attached joint powers agreement with the City of <br />Anoka which defines the mutual responsibilities for providing electrical service to said <br />facilities. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 28th day of August, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Adminis~'ator <br /> <br /> <br />
