I I i I I I I I I I I I ! i I i I i I Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-08- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA COUNTY FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT COUNTY ROAD #116 AND ST. FRANCIS BOULEVARD N.W. WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has expressed its concern over the need for the signalized traffic control devices at the intersection of County Road #116 and St. Francis Boulevard N.W.; and WHEREAS, the County of Anoka has responded by preparing specifications for temporary traffic control signals at County Road #116 and St. Francis Boulevard N.W.; and WHEREAS, the responsibility for electrical utility costs associated with traffic control signals are traditionally the City's; and WHERES, the City of Ramsey has previously passed Resolution #90-07-220 which authorizes the City to enter into an agreement for installing and maintaining a temporary traffic signal at County road #116 and St. Francis Boulevard N.W.; and WHEREAS, the City of Anoka will be supplying electrical service for said signals. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That the City of Ramsey enter into the attached joint powers agreement with the City of Anoka which defines the mutual responsibilities for providing electrical service to said facilities. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of August, 1990.
