Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Commissioner <br />Shepherd. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated September 23, 2003 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated October 14, 2003 <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Johnson noted the City Council minutes. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case Itl: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit for an Oversized Accessory Building; <br />Case of Steve Schwaab · <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Johnson opened the public hearing at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler advised the City received an application from Steven Schwaab for a <br />conditional use permit to exceed the accessory building size restrictions established in City Code <br />on the property located at 8732 168th Avenue NW. She stated the subject property is <br />approximately 0.8 acres in size and is located outside the MUSA. She indicated according to <br />City Code, the property is eligible for 1,488 square feet of accessory building space. <br /> <br />She indicated the applicant would like to exceed the overall size restriction by 161 square feet in <br />order to construct a detached accessory building that would accommodate the storage of private <br />use vehicles and equipment. She stated the proposed accessory building will be located in the <br />rear yard, and will meet and/or exceed all setbacks established in the R-1 Rural Developing <br />District. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy to close the public <br />hearing at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/November 6, 2003 <br /> Page 2 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
