PART 2 - PRODUCTS & SUBMITTALS <br />2.1 SUBSTITUTION DESCRIPTION <br />A. Include the following identification: <br />1. Project name <br />2. Drawing number <br />3. Specification section <br />B. Provide the following: <br />1. Description of change <br />2. Reason for change <br />3. Improvement to the Project <br />4. Change to scope of work <br />5. Compatibility with other products <br />6. Impact on codes or regulatory requirements <br />2.2 MANUFACTURER'S LITERATURE & SAMPLES <br />A. Where contents of submitted literature from manufacturers includes data <br />not pertinent to the submittal, clearly show which portions of the contents is being <br />submitted for review. <br />B. Provide Sample or Samples identical to the precise article proposed to be <br />provided. Identify as described under "Identification of submittals" below. <br />C. Make submittals far enough in advance of scheduled dates for installation <br />to provide time required for reviews, for securing necessary approvals, for <br />possible revisions and re -submittals, and for placing orders and securing delivery. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 ARCHITECI'S REVIEW <br />A. Review by the Architect does not relieve the Contractor from responsibility <br />for errors which may exist in the submitted data. <br />B. The Architect will review the substitution for suitability with the Project. <br />C. Substitutions approved prior to bid date will be acknowledged by <br />addendum. <br />D. Substitutions approved after contract award will be incorporated by <br />Change Order in accordance with the General Conditions. <br />01345-2 <br />
