the proposed and adjacent products, including any other products which may be <br />used by other subcontractors. Primer literature shall be included with the <br />submittal documents unless the manufacturer's sealant submittal specifically <br />included on submittal documents calling attention to the need for such staining <br />type primer and noting the planned precautions to prevent exposed stain residue. <br />C. Color Sample: 3 copies of the manufacturer's standard color charts shall be <br />submitted. Upon request, cured samples of each chosen color shall be submitted <br />for verification of actual color to be installed. <br />1.4 PRODUCT DELIVERY AND STORAGE <br />A. Delivery shall be in the manufacturer's original unopened container, clearly <br />identifying each product specified, relating it to the product literature submitted. <br />B. Storage shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendation, with <br />proper precautions concerning shelf life, temperature, humidity and similar <br />storage factors ensuring the fitness of the material when installed. <br />1.5 GUARANTEES <br />A. Sealant joints shall be guaranteed against adhesive and cohesive failure of the <br />sealant and against water penetration through the sealed joint for 5 years. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 MATERIALS <br />A. Sealants: <br />REF# ASTM FED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION <br />S-3 C-920-79 TT-S-230 (c) *Low Modulus, one component, <br />Type S Class A non -sag polyurethane or <br />Grade NS polysulfide sealant. Shore A <br />hardness of 15-25. Joint movement <br />range of +/-50%. Minimum <br />elongation of 700%. <br />S-5 C-920-79 TT-S-230 (c) *One component, self leveling, <br />Type S Class A polyurethane or polysulfide <br />Class 25 Type I sealant. Shore A hardness of 15- <br />Grade P 45. Joint movement of +/-25%. <br />S-7 C-920-79 TT-S1543 (a) *One component, neutral cure, <br />Type S Class A non -sag, silicone sealant. <br />Class 25 Joint movement range of +/-25%. <br />07900-2 <br />
