D. Install commercial bronze of silver metal edge guard at every location where <br />edge of carpet is exposed to traffic, except where another device, such as an <br />expansion joint cover system or threshold, is indicated with an integral carpet <br />binder bar. <br />3.4 PROTECTION <br />A. Provide a heavy non -staining paper or plastic walkway as required over <br />carpeting in direction of traffic, maintaining intact until carpeted space is <br />accepted by the Owner. <br />3.5 SURPLUS MATERIAL <br />A. Allow the Owner to inspect and select from scrap carpet remaining after the <br />installation. Bundle, wrap in burlap, and deliver to the Owner. <br />09680-3 <br />
