Ail equipment maneuvering areas, <br />driveway areas, access and perimeter roads shall be surfaced <br />with 6" of Class V or wood chips. Use of processed tire chips <br />is prohibited for surfacing material. <br /> <br />Outside Storage of Materials and Equipment. The outside <br />storage of debris or materials not used in the operation and <br />inoperable vehicles and equipment shall not be permitted. <br /> <br />Hours of Operation. The hours of the waste tire processing <br />operation shall be limited to 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday <br />through Saturday provided, however, that actual shredding of <br />tires shall not extend beyond 6:00 p.m. There shall be no <br />operations on Sundays and legal holidays. WM/~I at its <br />discretion may schedule a lesser number of hours of operation <br />within these limits. <br /> <br />Control of Operations. Ail hauling, shredding and other <br />activities incidental to the composting operation shall be <br />conducted in conformance with state and federal regulations <br />and in accordance with the applicable requirements of the <br />Performance Standards of the City Code (Section 170.017). <br />Operations must be conducted so as to minimize noise, safety, <br />odor, dust, visual impacts or other nuisance concerns to <br />adjacent residential properties. <br /> <br />On-Site Fire Protection. WMMI shall have available on-Site <br />sufficient fire fighting materials which at a minimum shall <br />be no less than 100 cubic yards of sand, 3,200 gallon capacity <br />tanker with water and foam extinguishers on each piece of <br />equipment such that advance efforts can be made in extinguish- <br />ing a fire either by WMMI personnel or City forces. WMMI <br />shall provide a safety communications line at the site at all <br />times during the term of this CUP when operating equipment at <br />the site. <br /> <br />Pest Control. Insects, rodents and birds on the site shall <br />be controlled and exterminated as needed and additional <br />control may be directed by the City Inspector subject to all <br />applicable laws, rules and regulations. <br /> <br />Traffic. WMMI's tire processing and haul vehicles shall <br />utilize U.S. Highway 10 and Sunfish Lake Boulevard (County <br />Road 57) exclusively when traveling to and from the Site. <br />WMMI shall communicate and attempt to ensure that non-owned <br />vehicles traveling to the Site utilize these same roads. <br />Vehicles with origination points or service stops in the City <br />may utilize local roads as necessary. <br /> <br />Litter Control. WMMI shall be responsible for removing litter <br />and debris along Sunfish Lake Boulevard caused by vehicles <br />using the yard waste composting facility. Litter and debris <br /> <br /> <br />
