AUTHORIZE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> CDBG IMPROVEMENTS <br /> By: Merland Otto <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the August 28, 1990 council meeting, the City Council authorized <br />the re-use of CDBG funds from the revolving loan fund for River's <br />Bend Park Improvements. These improvements would be predominantly <br />focused on the needs of the elderly and handicapped. <br /> <br />I have since discussed this with JoAnne Wright, CDBG coordinator <br />for Anoka County, who informed me that the City must take bids and <br />award a contract prior to November 23, 1990 in order to retain the <br />use of those funds (approximately $26,500.00). <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Adopt resolution authorizing preparation of plans <br />specifications for 1990 River's Bend Park Improvements. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt/not adopt Resolution %90-09- authorizing <br />preparation of plans and specifications for Improvement Project 90- <br />29, River's Bend Park Improvements. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator X <br />city Attorney <br />City Engineer X <br />Community Development Dir. <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Supt. <br />Other <br /> <br />x <br />x <br /> <br /> <br />
